Borussia Dortmund will be without Serhou Guirassy for their Bundesliga home game against SV Elversberg on Saturday.
The Guinean forward picked up an injury during the first half of Dortmund's 2-1 Champions League win over Real Betis on Wednesday and will therefore miss the upcoming fixture.
“Serhou has suffered a muscle strain, so he won't be able to play tomorrow,” Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovac confirmed at his pre-match press conference.
It's currently unclear if Guirassy will join up with the Guinea national team during the upcoming international break.
“We'll see how we handle things over the next few days. We're in good contact with the national team. He will probably stay here, but we'll discuss that further," Kovac said.
