According to Sport Bild, Bayer Leverkusen have already agreed a deal to make Alejo Sarco their first signing of the January transfer window.

The report claims that the 18-year-old striker will join the Werkself on a free transfer from Argentinian side Velez Sarsfield.

Despite Sarco's arrival, Leverkusen are keen to keep hold of their two current senior strikers, Victor Boniface and Patrik Schick, in January.

Sarco is regarded as a huge talent in his homeland, but hasn't played since it became clear in the summer that Velez Sarsfield would not be renewing his contract.

Leverkusen were already interested at the time, but couldn't agree a fee with the Argentinian club.
