Will this summer see the end of an era at Bayern Munich? Having spent his entire career at the Bavarian giants, Thomas Müller could be on the move when his contract expires this summer.

According to Bild, no final decision has been made on Müller's future, but Bayern have hinted to the veteran that his contract won't be renewed.

Müller's playing time for the Bavarians has been very limited this season and his minutes likely wouldn't increase next season if he were to stay.

It seems inevitable that Müller will eventually take on an important role at Bayern Munich once his playing career is over. However, before he retires, the 35-year-old could embark on another adventure, with Bild reporting that he would prefer to continue his career.

He has previously been linked with a move to the American MLS.

The German tabloid also mentions interest from Augsburg, who are geographically close to FC Bayern, but Die Függerstädter know that their chances of landing the former Germany international are minimal.
