The 23-year-old has been in great form lately, racking up five goals and an assist in his last three appearances in all competitions.
And speaking ahead of Leipzig's Champions League clash with Club Brugge on Tuesday, Marsch had plenty of praise for the midfielder.
"'Christo' doesn't have any weaknesses on the pitch. It's very enjoyable working alongside him," Marsch told reporters.
"He always listens closely and tries to carry out everything we say as best as possible."
According to Foot Mercato, Manchester United, Tottenham, Arsenal and FC Barcelona are all keeping an eye on the French midfielder's development.
Nkunku's contract with Leipzig expires in 2024.
