Reigning German champions Bayern München fell to a rare defeat as they lost 1-2 at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt at Allianz Arena in the Bundesliga on Sunday.

It was Julian Nagelsmann's first defeat as Bayern coach and Oliver Glasner's first Bundesliga win as Eintracht coach.

Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp made plenty of saves during the game, but couldn't stop Leon Goretzka from scoring the opener just shy of the half hour mark.

The away side, however, made an instant response as Martin Hinteregger headed in Filip Kostic's corner a few minutes later.

Bayern dominated possession and kept the pressure on the opposing area for most of the game, but Frankfurt sealed all three points against the run of play as Kostic blasted a shot past Manuel Neuer in the 83rd minute.
