Confirmed: Next chance for Leipzig's Hartmann in Braunschweig

After an aborted loan-spell with SC Paderborn 07 in the German second division, RB Leipzig prospect Fabrice Hartmann's next loan destination is Eintracht Braunschweig in the 3. Bundesliga.
After an extended loan spell at Paderborn didn't work out, former German youth international Fabrice Hartmann will get a short-term chance to assemble some match practice in Germany's third footballing flight. Parent club Leipzig and loan destination Eintracht Braunschweig confirmed the details of a six-month-loan arrangement on Friday evening.

"With Fabrice, we've been able to acquire a versatile winger who will lend our team further offensive potential," BTSV sporting director Peter Vollmann noted in a statement.

The 20-year-old declared himself "very happy to have the opportunity to be part of the Löwen". Whether or not the one-time German youth prodigy can recapture the scintillating form he displayed prior to a very nasty ACL injury remains to be seen, but Leipzig show no signs of giving up on him.

The loan reportedly contains no purchase clause. Braunschweig are currently in the midst of a promotion push, just behind 1. FC Kaiserlautern for the promotion playoff place in the 3. Bundesliga table.
