Official: Kramaric extends through 2025

Shortly before kickoff against FC Bayern München on Saturday afternoon, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim confirmed that Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric signed a contract extension with the club.
After approximately two months of rumors, Andrej Kramaric's about-face with respect to remaining in Sinsheim is now complete. The scorer of 101 goals in 211 competitive appearances for his current club will presumably continue to kick in Kraichgau for another three seasons. Kramaric, who initially came to Hoffenheim on loan from Leicester City in 2016, may now complete his career with his long-time club.

"I've enjoyed every moment here so far and am now looking forward to an exciting future," the 30-year-old striker said in a released statement, "I never expected to become one of the best strikers in Germany, but that's only possible because I feel so at home here."

"The fact that such an exceptional and ambitious player extends with us proves that we've earned status," TSG personnel boss Alexander Rosen added, "Andrej has been one of the most consistent goal-scorers in the Bundesliga for years. He's already a TSG legend."

The Bundesliga's best-ever Croat goalscorer, by extending his expiring contract, will enter his eighth season in Kraichgauer blue next year.
