The German champions confirmed on Thursday that the French international has tested positive for COVID-19.
"The FC Bayern defender is self-isolating and is doing well," said the club in a statement.
With Niklas Süle already out due to a hamstring injury, French youngster Tanguy Nianzou is likely to play alongside Dayot Upamecano and Lucas Hernandez in central defence against Union Berlin.
