The former German youth international departs the German capital after 16 years of cooperation with "die alte Dame". Touranarigha, a native of nearby Chemnitz, moved to the Hertha youth ranks in 2006. He scored a total of five goals for the senior squad in 73 league appearances.
"We would like to thank Jordan for his many years of service to Hertha BSC," Hertha sporting CEO Fredi Bobic remarked in a statement released on the club website, "As a player from our academy, he made the step up to the professional ranks and was able to gain a lot of experience with us. Now, with the move to Gent, a new chapter in his career begins. We wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors."
Nach über 15 gemeinsamen Jahren schließt sich unser Eigengewächs Jordan #Torunarigha dem belgischen Erstligisten @KAAGent an. Du wirst immer ein Teil der Hertha-Familie bleiben.
