Nagelsmann praises Choupo-Moting following stellar performance

After Bayern's 5-0 demolition of Freiburg on Sunday, manager Julian Nagelsmann had nothing bad to say about striker Eric Choupo-Moting's efficient display.
Eric Choupo-Moting secured his first start and first league goal of the season for Bayern Munich on Matchday 10. Trainer Julian Nagelsmann couldn't have been happier speaking to DAZN after the game:

"Choupo was gone for a long time last year, missed many weeks through various things. He has now fought well and I think he's had a phase of four weeks in which he trained very well. And he also played top today. He is a target player who is often missed in the media and we are very happy that we have him."

The Cameroon international added that, "I try to step on the gas every day in training and the boys see that. I know what I can do and that I can help the team. Julian knows that I see it that way and I told him that too. All the more beautiful that it worked out today and of course I would like to continue playing a lot and succeed with the team."

The veteran no. 9 may have earned himself another spot in the starting eleven against Augsburg on Wednesday.
