Confirmed: Hellas Verona take both Hertha's Zeefuilk and Dortmund's Braaf on loan
Hertha fullback Deyovaisio Zeefuik's loan-out to Serie A side Hellas Verona is finally through. A slight delay in the announcement was actually explained in that the Italian outfit also wished to introduce the signing of Dortmund prospect Jayden Braaf.
A long-ago reported upon transfer is finally through. Hertha sporting CEO Fredi Bobic has succeeded in finding a taker for underutilized Dutch fullback Deyovaisio Zeefuik. Bobic made no secret of his desire to get the one-time €4 million purchase off the club's payroll. In confirming Zeefuik's loan-out to Hellas Verona, Bobic also let it be known that the Serie A side was given a purchase option on the six-month arrangement.
The relegation-threatened Italian outfit actually introduced two signings of Dutch Bundesliga players at the same time. Disaffected Borussia Dortmund reserve attacker Jayden Braaf also arrives in Verona on a six-month loan deal with a purchase option. Offloading the 20-year-old was also a priority for Sebastian Kehl and the BVB front office. Disciplinary issues and a reported lack of effort led to only seven appearances (and no soccer points) for the Dortmund reserves this season.
