Transfer Round-Up: Four more Bundesliga departures confirmed
A number of transactions involving Bundesliga sides not finding direct coverage here on Bulinews have taken place in the last 24 hours. FSV Mainz 05, FC Schalke 04, Borussia Mönchengladbach, and 1. FC Köln all had outgoing transfers to confirm on Wednesday.

Moving up the table to another relegation threatened side, Noah Katterbach's loan-out to Hamburger SV was also confirmed on Wednesday. Köln cancelled what they deemed to be an ineffective loan-arrangement with FC Basel, yet still managed to see to it that the Germany U21 international wouldn't burden their payroll. Katterbach remains under contract with Köln through 2024.

FSV Mainz 05 also terminated one loan arrangement whilst simultaneously organizing another one. French defender Ronaël Pierre-Gabriel returned early from his loan arrangement with Racing Strasbourg. The 24-year-old - who has still only made five appearances for the Rheinhessen since arriving on Monaco in 2019, now heads to his third loan destination at RCD Espanyol.
The La Liga side, like previous loan clubs Straßbourg and Stade Brest, also have a purchase option on the €4.5 million-valued player. Gabriel also remains under contract with Mainz through 2024 as he heads to his sixth separate club and third different country in his young career.

Gladbach, which are by all means poised to have a very busy day tomorrow, confirmed that academy produced Rocco Reitz had been shipped out to Belgium's St. Truiden for a second loan stint in as many years. The 20-year-old will be due back in NRW at the end of the season.
