RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose has explained what led to his side's embarrassing 7-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League last night.

"Man City were too good for us today and they more than deserved to win. Obviously we don't want to accept that in the future. We want to move on," Rose said in a post-match interview.

"There were two reasons why we lost today. One was our aggression in set pieces and the other was that we didn't find a solution to their press when we had the ball.

"I take responsibility for that, too, because maybe I didn't give the team enough instructions. We never really got into the game. The result is very hard to take.
