The latest public words from Oliver Glasner on the matter of a reported upon exit clause that will allow Eintracht Frankfurt trainer Oliver Glasner to depart the SGE this summer should he wish to are still fully professional. The Eintracht head-coach told reporters that he operated on the assumption that he would stay after Saturday evening's 1-1 draw with Borussia Mönchengladbach. Glasner even used the words "extremely comfortable" when describing his current position.

Reports nevertheless continue to emerge that Glasner has no interest in the contract extension offers tendered by his current club. As a result, Eintracht are considering potential alternatives. The name of RB Salzburg trainer Matthias Jaissle has cropped up once again in relation to a top tier German football coaching job. Sky Germany reports that 35-year-old former TSG 1899 Hoffenheim professional has a verbal agreement with his Austrian side that will allow him to leave this summer.

Jaissle's eventual move to the Bundesliga seems a matter of due course. Salzburg's last two trainers, Marco Rose and Jesse Marsch, made the jump to the Bundesliga. Recent former Salzburg gaffers Roger Schmidt and Adi Hütter moved their careers north as well. The Nürtingen-native has called his work as Salzburg "a matter of the heart", but still (according to Sky) has an exit clause built into his current contract should a Bundesliga club come calling.
