Reports: Arsenal line up Leipzig's Henrichs as possible Cancelo alternative

Germany's preeminent footballing publication, and the team overseeing the rumor mills at transfermarkt's German home base, are both reporting that a third RB Leipzig regular is now being actively hunted by an EPL club on the Isle.
After losing Dominik Szoboszlai to Liverpool, and quite possibly having to sell off Josko Gvardiol to Manchester City, RB Leipzig sporting CEO Max Eberl may have a fresh headache to contend with. Germany's Kicker Magazine reports that Arsenal are actively interested in acquiring fullback Benjamin Henrichs.

The North London side are widely believed to be targeting FC Bayern München loanee Joao Cancelo as their primary summer addition. A price tag in the €50-70 million range still poses a challenge. Henrichs has actually demonstrated that, like Cancelo, he can play successfully on both flanks as either a fullback or wingback.

Henrichs - with an estimated market value of €15 million - has played on both the left and right for both club and country in the last six months. The 26-year-old would surely jump at the chance to advance his career on the Isle. Eberl could hardly refuse Henrichs a transfer request. Philipp Marquardt of Germany's transfermarkt confirms the rumors initially appearing in Kicker.
