Thomas Tuchel: "We deservedly turned the game around"

Speaking after Bayern's comeback win over Copenhagen, Thomas Tuchel said he felt his team deserved to turn the game around.
Bayern Munich came from a goal down to beat FC Copenhagen 2-1 tonight at the Parken Stadium in the Danish capital.

In a post-match interview, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel described the match as "tough", but felt his team deserved to win.

"We knew how hard it would be. It was really important not to get frustrated or lose concentration, but to keep going and take advantage of the smallest opportunities. We did that. Copenhagen defended very tightly, very compactly, and it got really tough after 1-0," Tuchel said.

"It was difficult to open them up, even though we had some good moments in transition. We controlled the game. We kept them off the scoreboard for a long time, and then they went behind with their first chance of the half. That was annoying. Copenhagen got a point in the first game, and then it would've been four. You could feel that in the stadium.

"We stayed patient, got some energy from the bench and deservedly turned the game around. I'm happy that we turned it around," said the Bayern boss.

Lukas Lerager put the Danish champions ahead before goals from Jamal Musiala and Mathys Tel secured the victory for Bayern.
