Ulreich on his vital save against FC Copenhagen: "Fortunately I didn't cut my fingernails today"

Speaking to Bulinews.com and other media after Bayern Munich's 2-1 win over FC Copenhagen, Sven Ulreich reflected on his important last-minute save.
Sven Ulreich played a key role in Bayern Munich's 2-1 win over FC Copenhagen on Tuesday night, producing an impressive last-minute reflex save to keep out Jordan Larsson's header.

Speaking to Bulinews.com and other accredited media in the mixed zone after the match, Ulreich shared his thoughts on the crucial save.

"Luckily I didn't cut my fingernails today," the 35-year-old goalkeeper joked, adding:

"Obviously it was great for me at the end that I was able to turn the ball around the post. But that's what you train for," he added modestly.

With Manuel Neuer still working his way back from a long-term knee injury, Ulreich has been in goal for all but one game this season.
