Report: Reus could miss Tottenham clash as his injury may be worse than feared

Marco Reus is reportedly in danger of missing out on Borussia Dortmund's Champions League game against Tottenham next week.
Marco Reus was subbed off with a thigh problem at half-time during Borussia Dortmund's DFB-Pokal defeat to Werder Bremen on Tuesday.

After the game, BVB boss Michael Zorc said Reus was taken off as Dortmund didn't want to take any risks with him. But the injury may be worse than initially feared.

According to Bild, Reus could be sidelined for up to 14 days. That would mean that the BVB captain could miss out on Dortmund's Champions League clash with Tottenham next week.

Borussia Dortmund are expected to reveal the extent of the injury later today.

On the bright side for Dortmund, Roman Bürki, who missed the game against Werder Bremen with illness, will be back for Saturday's game against Hoffenheim, according to Bild.
