Napoli vs. Union Berlin preview: Team news and predicted lineups

Here is our preview of Wednesday's Champions League group stage clash between Napoli and Union Berlin, including predicted lineups.
It's safe to say that Union Berlin's season is not going according to plan. Having lost their last 12 competitive matches, Die Eisernen have slipped to 16th place in the Bundesliga, are bottom of their Champions League group with 0 points and are out of the DFB-Pokal.

But despite the club's dire situation, Union coach Urs Fischer is refusing to throw in the towel and said after Saturday's 3-0 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt:

"Of course it's incredibly difficult at the moment. But we've decided to walk this rocky and arduous path together.

"There will be setbacks, but we will win again. The next game is always key."

Union would probably welcome anything other than a defeat when they travel to Napoli to face the Scudetto holders, who won 1-0 in the reverse fixture in Berlin two weeks ago.

Rani Khedira is serving a suspension in the Bundesliga but will be available to play against Napoli and is likely to start, with Lucas Tousart and David Fofana also in with a chance of starting.

Napoli, coming off a 2-0 win over Salernitana, will still be without star striker Victor Osimhen, but have no fresh injury concerns.
