Report: Dortmund set limit on potential Sancho purchase

According to Sport Bild, Borussia Dortmund could spend a fee in the region of €30 million to sign Jadon Sancho permanently from Manchester United.
Jadon Sancho has been playing for Borussia Dortmund on loan from Manchester United since January, and it's currently unclear if he'll stay beyond the summer.

According to Sport Bild, Dortmund are keen to keep hold of the winger, but there is a limit to what they can pay to sign him permanently.

The report claims that BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl would be able to spend a fee of around €30 million on the Englishman.

But that's not enough to make the move happen. Sancho would also have to settle for a salary of around half the €18 million a year (with bonuses) he currently earns at Manchester United, according to the report.

So far, Sancho has scored two goals and provided two assists in a total of 11 appearances for the Black and Yellows.

He also played for the German club between 2017 and 2021, when he joined Manchester United for a whopping €85 million.
