Report: Gladbach make €25 million offer for Gent youngster Jonathan David

Gladbach have reportedly made an offer for Gent's Jonathan David.

Borussia Mönchengladbach have tabled an offer of €25 million for KAA Gent youngster Jonathan David, according to Het Laatste Nieuws.

However, Gent are said to be holding out for a fee of €30-35 million for the Canadian international.

David, 20, has previously admitted that he feels ready for the next step in his career and that he would like to come to the Bundesliga.

According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Bayern München, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen have also expressed interest in the striker in recent months.

Jonathan David has made 40 appearances for Gent this season with 23 goals and 10 assists to his name.
