Report: Stuttgart set to conclude deal for Paderborn's Führich
Germany's Sport Bild and Kicker Magazine both report that VfB Stuttgart and SC Paderborn 07 near a deal for the transfer of winger Chris Führich.

Pellegrino Matarazzo's star right flanker--known as Silas Wamangituka last season--continues to recover from a brutal ACL tear incurred last March. Kotompa Mvumpa cannot even begin rehab until a total football suspension handed down by the DFB elapses on September 11th. A return prior to November is not considered feasible.
It is perhaps for this reason that the Swabians are prepared to plunk down a large amount of change for Chris Führich. After a prolific season spent playing for the BVB reserves, Führich was loaned out to SC Paderborn 07 last season. The East Westphalians then purchased the player outright for a reported €700,000 on July 1st.
Paderborn now stand to make a lucrative flip. Kicker and Sport Bild report that Stuttgart have acceded to the 2. Bundesliga club's demands for a transfer fee between €2.5 and €3 million. If the higher end figure proves true, this would be the second highest value sale in Paderborn's history behind Nick Proschwitz's transfer to Hull City in 2012.
Führich scored 13 goals and registered 7 assists in the campaign just completed. The negotiations between the two clubs with respect to a transfer fee have been stretching out for over a month.
