As reported earlier, Zuber will join AEK Athens on a season-long-loan. A loan-fee cannot be verified at this time, but the SGE did announce that the deal does include a purchase option available to the Greek club.

In other Frankfurt transfer news, German footballing magazine Kicker reports that Markus Krösche's search for a new defensive midfielder is essentially complete. Following the loss of captain Sebastian Rode to knee surgery, an additional DM remained a priority for the club.
Reports surfaced over the weekend that 24-year-old Croatian midfielder Kristijan Jakic of Dinamo Zagreb would be headed to Deutsch Bank Park. Kicker reports that negotiations dragged a bit over the arrangement. Eventually, the two sides came to terms over a loan deal with an obligatory purchase option in the (most likely) event that Frankfurt remains in the Bundesliga.
According to kicker the buyout clause is around €5 million.
In terms of the sought after extra striker to complement Rafael Santos Borré, journalist Alfredo Pedulla reports that Dutchman Sam Lammers is on his way to the Rhein-Main metropolis. The Atalanta Bergamo attacker made just 19 competitive appearances for his Serie A club after moving from PSV Einhoven for €7 million two years ago.
The 24-year-old did complete a 16-goal-season on loan at SC Heerenveen during the 2018/19 campaign.
