Werder Bremen are closing in on bringing back Niclas Füllkrug on loan from West Ham United.
Sky Germany reports that the German striker is flying to Germany on Monday evening, with his medical ahead of the move scheduled to take place on Tuesday.
Füllkrug, 33, is reportedly willing to take a significant pay cut to make his return to the Green-Whites happen.
The German international played for Werder between 2019 and 2023, when he joined Borussia Dortmund.
One year later, West Ham signed him for a reported €27 million. He remains under contract with the Hammers until 2028, having been relegated from the Premier League last season.
