As VfB Stuttgart announced this morning, Jeremy Arévalo will join Portuguese first division side Estrela Amadora on loan.

The Ecuadorian international, who only moved from Racing Santander in January for €7.5million, will spend the season on loan.

At VfB Stuttgart, Arévalo, whose contract runs until 2031, was only intended for the reserve team next during the 2026-27 campaign.

Now, with a year-long loan secured, the 21-year-old is expected to gain valuable playing experience at a high level in Portugal.

Furthermore, according to multiple well-informed news outlets, a purchase option is not part of the deal for Arévalo.

“For Jeremy, the loan to Estrela Amadora is the right career step at this time to gain playing time and further experience in the Portugal.

"We wish him all the best for his time and will follow his development closely,” said sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth.
