    1. FC Nürnberg have rejected a second bid from VfB Stuttgart for Caspar Jander, according to Bild.

In light of the rejection, the Swabians reportedly no longer believe a deal will materialize.

Stuttgart's latest bid is said to have exceeded €10 million including bonuses, but Nürnberg continue to hold out for a package worth up to €15 million - a gap that currently leaves little room for negotiation.

Stuttgart boss Fabian Wohlgemuth recently confirmed the club’s interest in Jander, but also noted that Stuttgart are exploring other options.

Given the difficulties in reaching an agreement with Nürnberg, Stuttgart's attention may soon shift to one of those alternatives.
