Kohfeldt: I don't want to put too much responsibility on Josh Sargent's shoulders

Florian Kohfeldt doesn't want to give Josh Sargent too much responsibility at this early stage of his career.
Werder Bremen coach Florian Kohfeldt says he doesn't want to burden Josh Sargent with too much responsibility.

The 19-year-old replaced the long-term injured Niclas Füllkrug to start against RB Leipzig last week, but that doesn't automatically make him the preferred deputy in the long run.

"He's a dangerous player," Kohfeldt told Kicker and added:

"But I don't want to put too much responsibility on his shoulders. That would be wrong. He's a very young player."

Sargent has netted once in five appearances for Werder this season.
