Goalkeeper: Gregor Kobel, Borussia Dortmund
The Swiss goalkeeper played a key role in Dortmund's title push, playing at a consistently high level throughout the season. Kobel kept a total of 11 clean sheets in the Bundesliga, corresponding to 40.7% of the games he played.

Right-back: Jeremie Frimpong, Bayer Leverkusen
Playing in an attacking wing-back role for much of the season, Frimpong terrorized opposition defenses with his blistering pace and dazzling skill. Impressively, the 22-year-old had a hand in 15 goals (8 goals, 7 assists).

Centre-back: Matthijs de Ligt, Bayern Munich
Once he settled in following his move from Juventus, de Ligt turned into a stalwart of the Bayern backline. In 31 appearances, he helped Bayern keep seven clean sheets, won 59% of his tackles, completed 91% of his passes, and scored three important goals.

Centre-back: Matthias Ginter, Freiburg
The only outfield player to play every minute of the season, Ginter was key to Freiburg's strong campaign in the heart of their defense. The Germany international helped Christian Streich's side keep an impressive 13 clean sheets, won 63% of his duels and was a threat from set pieces at the other end of the pitch, finding the back of the net four times.

Left-back: Raphael Guerreiro, Borussia Dortmund
A left-back by trade, Guerreiro was also used as a central midfielder, threatening the opposition with his delicious left foot. In what proved to be his final campaign in black and yellow, the Portugal international was involved in an impressive 16 goals (4 goals, 12 assists).

Central midfielder: Ellyes Skhiri, FC Köln
A powerhouse in central midfield for FC Köln, Skhiri played a vital role in both defence and attack. The Tunisian midfielder completed 88% of his passes, won 56% of his tackles and found the back of the net seven times despite playing in a number six position.

Central midfielder: Jude Bellingham, Borussia Dortmund
Named the Bundesliga's Player of the Season, Bellingham enjoyed his best and probably his last season in the German top flight, with a summer transfer likely for the 19-year-old. Bellingham scored eight goals and laid on five assists for Dortmund, demonstrating his dazzling individual quality and impressive mentality.

Attacking midfielder: Jamal Musiala, Bayern Munich
Virtually impossible to defend when he's on his game, Musiala was arguably the best player in the Bundesliga in the first half of the season. Though he has struggled to maintain that form since the turn of the year, he can still look back on an impressive season in which he provided 13 assists and found the net 12 times, including Bayern's title-winning goal against FC Köln.

Attacking midfielder: Christopher Nkunku, RB Leipzig
Despite missing much of the second half of the season through injury, Nkunku left an impressive mark on the 2022/23 campaign, finishing top scorer alongside Niclas Füllkrug with 16 goals.

Striker: Kolo Muani, Eintracht Frankfurt
The 24-year-old Frenchman has exceeded expectations since joining on a free from Nantes last summer, contributing to 29 goals (15 goals, 14 assists) in his debut season in the Bundesliga.

Striker: Niclas Füllkrug, Werder Bremen
Another player who far outperformed expectations, Füllkrug finished the season as joint top scorer with 16 goals and is now a regular in the German squad.

Bench: Frederik Rønnow (Union Berlin), Benjamin Pavard (Bayern Munich), Danilho Doekhi (Union Berlin), Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich), Dominik Szoboszlai (RB Leipzig), Jonas Hofmann (Gladbach), Vincenzo Grifo (Freiburg).
