Two Bayern Munich veterans could be entering the final season of their careers.

According to Sport Bild, Bayern expect Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer to retire next summer.

The experienced duo would leave a gap in the squad, but on the positive side for Bayern, their departures would free up a large amount of money for salaries in 2025, with both players earning around €20 million per year.

Both players are out of contract in the summer of 2025.

Muller, 34, has spent his entire career at Bayern Munich, making 707 appearances for the club, scoring 242 goals and providing 268 assists.

Neuer, 38, joined Bayern in 2011 from Schalke 04 and has played 521 games for the Bavarian club.
