Raphaël Guerreiro has recently been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich, with clubs from Italy and Portugal reportedly showing interest in the versatile 31-year-old.

However, according to Bild’s Bayern Insider podcast, the German champions have no intention of letting Guerreiro go during the winter transfer window.

Bayern coach Vincent Kompany reportedly wants to keep the 31-year-old, valuing him for his versatility and ability to cover multiple positions.

Kompany praised Guerreiro following Bayern’s 3-1 win over Sporting CP, describing him as a “fantastic professional” who can “help the team in any situation.”

Whether the former Borussia Dortmund player will remain beyond the summer is more uncertain, with his expiring contract unlikely to be extended.
