Bayern Munich became the first European club to progress from the group stage of the Club World Cup, but there were also concerns about yet another injury to Jamal Musiala after the game against Boca Juniors.

Musiala left the pitch 25 minutes after coming on as a substitute as Bayern booked a round of 16 place with a 2-1 victory. The 22-year-old only returned to action after missing Germany’s Nations League games earlier this month.

However, this injury will not see him miss any games, according to Sky’s Kerry Hau. Bayern expect him to join the training on Sunday as they continue preparation for the final group game against Benfica. The Bavarians will most likely face Chelsea in the round of 16 if they finish top of the group. Musiala scored a hat-trick in the opening game against Auckland City.
