Bayern sign Austrian prodigy from RB Salzburg
Bayern Munich have confirmed the signing of 16-year-old Matteo Maric from RB Salzburg.

16-year-old Matteo Maric has been unveiled as a new Bayern Munich player.
The young midfielder will join the FC Bayern Campus this summer after signing a long-term contract with the German record champions.
“We have been observing Matteo over an extended period,” said FC Bayern director of youth development Jochen Sauer.
“He is one of the most promising talents of his age group in Austria, and we are confident that he will be a valuable addition to our academy.
“We are delighted that Matteo will take his next steps toward the transition area here at the Campus, and we are very excited to see how he develops with us.”
Maric most recently played for RB Salzburg’s U18 side and has made four appearances for Austria’s U17 national team.
