Matej Kovar will start over Lukas Hradecky in net. Patrik Schick takes the place of lead striker Victor Boniface after the Nigerian was involved in automobile accident earlier this week. Midfielders Granit Xhaka and Robert Andrich are both replaced by Exequiel Palacios and Aleix Garcia.

Florian Wirtz - once again fit enough to start - takes over for Amine Adli. Jonas Hofmann receives his desired chance to start above Martin Terrier. The same applies to Nigerian attacker Nathan Tella, who will begin in place of Jeremie Frimpong. Nordi Mukiele also starts over Edmond Tapsoba.

Tella's statements on playing the wingback role may very well herald a 4-2-3-1 formation. Despite the fact that the squad contains no natural right back. Mukiele could nevertheless fill this role if necessary.
