Energie Cottbus is preparing for the 2.Bundesliga with Christian Kinsombi named as their first signing for the upcoming season.
The attacking player joins the newly promoted side on a free transfer from Hansa Rostock as a result of his expiring contract.
Kinsombi managed to amass four goals alongside three assists during 24 appearances in the third division last season.
"Christian is a player who, in our opinion, fits very well with the style of football we want to continue playing here.
"He's fast and versatile, able to play centrally, on the wing, or even as a striker," said Cottbus head coach Claus-Dieter Wollitz on the signing.
