Donald Trump recently praised Harry Kane as a “great player” and revealed that he had previously shared a round of golf with the Bayern Munich and England striker.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of England’s World Cup quarter-final against Norway, Kane confirmed that he played golf with the US president in Florida around 18 months ago.
“He invited me to play when I was down in Palm Beach. So yeah, when the president invites you somewhere...” Kane revealed, according to the BBC.
"It was a pretty surreal experience just to meet him and obviously play golf with him.
"His golf is pretty good, to be honest with you. I hope I can play golf as good as him when I'm his age, that's for sure. A unique experience, but I was just grateful that he invited me to play."
Kane and England will face Norway in Miami, Florida on Saturday night at 23:00 CEST.
