Bayer Leverkusen will be without Jonas Hofmann for the rest of the year.

Ahead of Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Heidenheim, the German champions announced that Hofmann will not play again until 2025 due to a muscle injury in his left thigh.

The attacking midfielder has featured eight times for Leverkusen in all competitions this season, scoring twice and providing one assist.

Amine Adli (broken leg), Jeanuel Belocian (foot), Victor Boniface (thigh) and Nordi Mukiele (thigh) are also sidelined for Die Werkself.
