Report: Jobe Bellingham in Dortmund to sign contract

According to reports from Ruhr Nachrichten and FunkeSport, Jobe Bellingham has arrived at Borussia Dortmund's offices to sign his deal ahead of a move from Sunderland.

Alongside his father and advisor Mark Bellingham, the 19-year-old has arrived in Dortmund to sign a five-year deal worth a reported 33 million Euros.

BVB have been able to convince Bellingham to join them, despite interest from fellow Bundesliga sides Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig.

Bellingham's older brother, Jude played for the Bundesliga club for three seasons before his move to Real Madrid in 2023.

Jobe on the other hand, helped Sunderland secure promotion back to the Premier League after eight years away from the top-flight.

Also like his brother Jude, the midfielder came through Birmingham City's academy before making his move to the north-east of England in 2023.

Reports from Sky Sports UK suggest that the deal includes a 15 per cent sell-on clause, and that the transfer fee will be the highest that a newly-promoted Premier League club have ever received.

Excluding add-ons, Bellingham will become the second most expensive signing in the history of Die Schwarzgelben behind Ousmane Dembele.
