Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi’s market value has dropped significantly due to his struggles on and off the pitch this season, according to Kicker.

While a transfer fee of €60 million was mentioned earlier in the season, Dortmund may now only be able to get €30-40 million for the striker if they decide to sell him this summer, the German outlet reports.

An extension of Adeyemi’s contract with the Black and Yellows beyond 2027 is becoming increasingly unlikely.

Back in November, the 24-year-old was fined €450,000 for illegal possession of weapons while away with the German national team, causing a stir.

The following month, he faced criticism for inappropriate behavior after being substituted in a game for Dortmund.

Falling in and out of Borussia Dortmund’s starting line-up, Adeyemi has managed 10 goals and five assists in 37 appearances across all competitions this season.
