After months of speculation over his future, Péter Gulácsi recently decided to extend his contract with RB Leipzig until 2027.
According to Bild, the Hungarian goalkeeper could have moved to England, with the German tabloid claiming that Tottenham Hotspur offered him a lucrative deal running until 2028 back in January.
However, Gulácsi ultimately chose to stay at Leipzig, where he has played since 2015 – even though he is expected to hand over his spot as first-choice goalkeeper next season to the younger Maarten Vandevoordt.
The 35-year-old has made a total of 360 appearances for Die Roten Bullen so far.
