A year ago, Bayern Munich agreed to sell Paul Wanner to PSV for a reported €15 million while including a buy-back clause in the deal.

According to Bild’s head of football, Christian Falk, Liverpool have now emerged as suitors for the 20-year-old attacking midfielder.

In light of this, Bayern could opt to activate their re-sign clause for the youngster, but the German champions currently have no intention of doing so, Falk claims.

He further states that Wanner’s focus is currently fully on PSV and proving that he is the best player in his position in the Dutch Eredivisie rather than looking to move to a top club.

The Austria international has just one assist in eight games across all competitions for PSV so far this season.

In total, he has racked up five goals and five assists in 40 games for the Dutch side.
