Borussia Dortmund coach Marco Rose has revealed that Donyell Malen is a doubt for Sunday's Bundesliga encounter with VfL Bochum.

"Donyell Malen has fallen ill," Rose told reporters at the pre-match press conference.

He has a virus infection. We'll have to see how that develops. He might not be available," added Rose, who will not be present himself after he was sent off against Bayern last week.

The Dortmund coach also provided an update on Thorgan Hazard, Giovanni Reyna and Julian Brandt.

"It looks good for 'Toto' Hazard, he will be an alternative for the squad. 'Gio' Reyna still needs a bit more time.

"Julian Brandt trained a bit today, he may be an option for Saturday. To do this, however, after a head injury, some requirements must be met so that the player can be ready again."
