Bayern München CEO Oliver Kahn has confirmed reports that Niklas Süle will leave the club.

The 26-year-old centre-back is set to depart Allianz Arena as a free agent when his contract expires in the summer after turning down a new deal.

"He has not accepted our offer," Kahn told reporters at a press conference on Wednesday and added:

"We have a certain responsibility for the offers we make. It's normal that you don't always come together in this business."

Bayern put €20 million on the table to sign Süle from Hoffenheim in 2017. He has made 158 appearances for the Bavarians, racking up six goals and four assists.
