Kohfeldt confirms Kruse will start against Fürth

Max Kruse will come straight into Wolfsburg's starting eleven following his transfer from Union Berlin.
Wolfsburg coach Florian Kohfeldt has promised that Max Kruse will be in his starting line-up for Sunday's Bundesliga crunch clash against Greuther Fürth.

The 33-year-old is back at Wolfsburg after completing a €5 million move from Union Berlin towards the end of January, and he will jump straight into action.

"Max Kruse will play from the start on Sunday," Kohfeldt told reporters at the pre-match press conference.

Kevin Paredes and Jonas Wind, who have joined Wolfsburg from D.C. United and FC Copenhagen respectively, have also made a good impression on Kohfeldt.

"Both Kevin and Jonas have needed little time to understand what is required in their positions. They were able to cope with the high intensity in training right away," he said.

Having failed to win a Bundesliga game since the beginning of November, Kohfeldt and Wolfsburg will be determined to return to winning ways against last-placed Fürth this Sunday.
