Confirmed: Ireland the next loan locale for Leipzig prospect Hartmann
Former German youth prodigy Fabrice Hartmann has been loaned out by RB Leipzig for the third time in a year.
After an extended loan to SC Paderdorn 07 ended in an early recall, Fabrice Hartmann (recently returned from Eintracht Braunschweig) will still have to wait to make his first appearance for the RB Leipzig senior side. The German Red Bulls confirmed that they had sent the 21-year-old out on loan to Silgo Rovers FC in Ireland for the season.
The one-time Germany U17 whiz-kid has had difficulty resurrecting his career after a particularly nasty ACL tear left him sidelined for 18 months. In his most recent loan stint with Braunschweig in the second half of the 2021/22 third division campaign, Hartmann made just five substitute appearances. One solitary start saw him yanked at the half.
