Hoffenheim reportedly set to sign another defender
Per Fabrizio Romano, Hoffenheim are signing center-back Eduardo Quaresma from Sporting Lisbon on loan.
Hoffenheim continue to make improvements to their defense as Eduardo Quaresma has accepted a move from Sporting Lisbon to Germany on a year-long loan. The 20-year-old was loaned out to Portuguese side Tondela last season where he impressed scouts. Quaresma is excellent with both feet and can even play in defensive midfield.
Quaresma will join newcomers Stanley Nsoki and Ozan Kabak in a rebuilt Hoffenheim defense. These moves could spell trouble for Benjamin Hübner and Stefan Posch, who's attracted interest from England.

Hoffenheim clearly lack confidence in the current group of defenders, as new coach André Breitenreiter is prioritizing improving this area of the pitch.
