Report: Weigl could head out on loan amid Gladbach interest
Kicker is reporting that Benfica are thinking about sending Julian Weigl out on loan amid reported interest from a number of clubs, including Gladbach.
According to Kicker, Benfica are considering sending the 26-year-old German midfielder out on loan.
This could increase the chance of signing Weigl for some of the interested clubs, such as Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Weigl was on the bench for 90 minutes as Benfica beat FC Midtjylland 4-1 in a Champions League qualifier.
He then came on for 27 minutes in his side's 4-0 Primeira Liga win over Arouca.
