Dortmund updates: BVB travel to Berlin with Adeyemi and Hummels while Dahoud and Reyna stay behind

Dortmund's Ruhr Nachrichten newspaper, as always, has kept a close eye on which Borussia Dortmund players boarded the the transport for the squad's away match.

According to the newspaper, Giovanni Reyna and Mahmoud Dhaoud have been left behind.

The latest on Dortmund's squad ahead of the weekend away fixture against Hertha BSC, as chronicled by Dortmund's Ruhr Nachrichten, is that Giovanni Reyna and Mahmoud Dahoud did not join the BVB at the airport. Dahoud is apparently still struggling with the after effects of the shoulder injury he incurred last weekend.

Reyna made his long-awaited comeback from injury last weekend. At this juncture, it is unknown whether the American phenom has been left behind because of a new injury, a personal sporting decision by head-coach Edin Terzic, or possibly a simple desire to give him more recovery time.

The RN does report that Karim Adeyemi, captain Marco Reus, and Mats Hummels have made the trip. Hummels nevertheless showed up at the airport with bandaged knees, casting doubt upon his starting prospects.
