Official: Kalajdzic completes Wolverhampton move

VfB Stuttgart have sold Sasa Kalajdzic to Wolverhampton.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the signing of Sasa Kalajdzic on a permanent deal from VfB Stuttgart.

The English Premier League side have paid a reported €18 million to sign the tall forward, who found the net 24 times in 60 games for Stuttgart.

"After joining VfB in recent years, Sasa became an established Bundesliga player and international, whose performances have attracted the attention of clubs at home and abroad," commented Stuttgart sporting director Sven Mislintat.

"His career is another impressive example of how VfB offers young players perfect conditions and development opportunities. We thank Sasa for the time we spent together at VfB and wish him all the best for his sporting and private future."

Kalajdzic added:

"The time at VfB will remain unforgettable for me. I have experienced a lot from lows like my injuries to highs like my first Bundesliga season with 16 goals and the emotional relegation escape on the last matchday of last season.

"I would like to thank my teammates, the people in charge as well as the employees of the club and especially the VfB fans. I have taken the city as well as the club to my heart. I will continue to be a fan of this wonderful club, and I wish VfB the very best for the coming season as well as for the future."
