Schalke fall deeper into crisis with lifeless Pokal loss to Hoffenheim
It's really difficult to see Schalke holding onto Frank Kramer any longer, as the newly-promoted side looked lost in their 5-1 DFB-Pokal defeat to Hoffenheim.

Ozan Kabak and Pavel Kaderabek added two more in the second period to complete their 5-1 win. Schalke allowed Hoffenheim to have 26 shots and hardly created anything of substance on the offensive end. Frank Kramer is again on very thin ice after another poor display.
Elsewhere among the 20:45 games, 2. Bundesliga leaders Darmstadt deservedly went ahead in the first half with a Phillip Tietz goal against Gladbach. Daniel Farke's team responded with a Luca Netz goal, but substitute Aaron Seydel secured the winner for Darmstadt in the 79th minute for a 2-1 upset victory.
The status for both Yann Sommer and Jonas Hofmann for Matchday 11 could be up in the air, as both were subbed off with injuries.
Wolfsburg defeated Eintracht Braunschweig 2-1 through goals from Mattias Svanberg and Jakub Kaminski. Bochum escaped third division side SV Elversberg 1-0 for a spot in the round of 16 with Anthony Losilla's goal in the 85th minute.
