France's L'Équipe reports that 19-year-old French central defender Soumaïla Coulibaly will be loaned out by parent club Borussia Dortmund to Burnley F.C. for the coming campaign. The French publication reports that talks between the two sides are at an "advanced stage" and that a purchase option should be included.

The teenage talent made his debut for the BVB senior side this season, regrettably committing a fatal defensive  error that led to his team dropping points against Stuttgart on matchday 28. A loan-out to newly promoted Premiership side Burnley would make a great deal of sense. Coulibaly joined Dortmund from the PSG reserves ahead of the 2021/22 campaign and has amassed decent performances with the German club's reserve side.
